Ratchet & Clank : QForce est un jeu mêlant des éléments de tower defense et de jeu de plates-formes sur PS3. Il convient d'y protéger sa base en y construisant des tourelles, mines et autres barricades, mais également de se jeter dans l'action en éliminant les défenses ennemies à l'aide d'armes allant du Combustor à l'Erupteur Sonique. La campagne peut être jouée seul ou en coopération et il est possible d'affronter d'autres joueurs en ligne.
