Killzone 3 est un jeu de tir à la première personne à grand spectacle sur PS3. Le jeu permet de découvrir la suite de la campagne de l'ISA sur la planète Helghan et reprend exactement lâ où son prédécesseur s'était arrêté. Outre sa partie solo, le jeu propose un mode 2 joueurs en écran splitté ainsi qu'un multijoueur en ligne capable d'accueillir jusqu'â 32 combattants. Il est également compatible Playstation Move et 3D stéréoscopique.
