Metro 2033 sur 360 est un FPS prenant place dans un monde post-apocalyptique. Le joueur incarne l'un des derniers survivants de l'humanité obligé de se cacher avec ce qu'il reste de ses congénères dans le métro. Les couloirs et les tunnels représentent la dernière zone de sécurité protégée des hordes de mutants autres créatures des ténèbres qui hantent les ruines à la surface.
