Kazuya s'est vengé de son père à la fin du premier Tekken et a pris le contrôle de Mishima Zaibatsu. Pas pour longtemps car Heihashi est de retour pour se débarrasser de son fils une bonne fois pour toutes. Pour éliminer ses ennemis, Kazuya décide d'organiser le second King of Iron Fist Tournament.
