Final Fantasy XIII-2 sur Xbox 360 est un jeu de rôle, suite directe de Final Fantasy XIII. Lightning, l'héroïne du précédent opus a disparu au coeur d'un monde inconnu, le Valhalla. Sa jeune soeur Serah, accompagnée du mystérieux Noel Kreiss, décide de partir à sa recherche en parcourant le canevas temporel... Le système de combat reste dans la veine de son prédécesseur, mais la progression mise sur une plus grande liberté.
