GTA Liberty City Stories sur PS2 est un spin-off de GTA III. Ce jeu d'action propulse le joueur dans la peau de Tony Cipriani pour arpenter les rues d'un New York virtuel abritant une mine de malfrats. Comme dans tout GTA, le but est de remplir les différentes missions confiées par les multiples connaissances que l'on se fait au fil de l'histoire, entre deux vols de voitures.
