Donkey Kong est de retour dans un action-aventure en 3D. Dans Bananza, le primate est accompagné de Pauline et doivent tous les deux se rendre au cœur de la planète. Au cours de son voyage, il apprend à se transformer en certains animaux lui octroyant certains pouvoirs mais va devoir à chaque fois détruire ce qu'il a devant lui pour avancer.
