Carmen Sandiego : Le Secret des Tam-Tams Volés est un jeu de plates-formes à la troisième personne sur GameCube. Sur son lit de mort, le dernier descendant d'un roi africain révèle l'existence d'un temple contenant un énorme diamant qui, lui, détient le savoir de toutes les nations. Seul problème, la carte a été écrite sur les peaux de huit tam-tams éparpillés autour du monde. Dans neuf endroits exotiques, le joueur devra défier les esprits élémentaires pour retrouver ces trésors.
