Disgaea 3 : Absence of Detention est un jeu de rôle tactique sur Playstation Vita. Le joueur suit les exploits de Mao, l'étudiant le plus estimé de l'Académie du Mal, malgré le fait qu'il n'ait jamais assisté à aucun cours ni ouvert le moindre livre de classe. Mao rêve de renverser son père, le président de l'école, et décide donc de devenir un héros pour y parvenir. Cette version inclut tous les DLC qui étaient proposés sur PS3.
