Dans Bubble Ghost sur Gameboy, vous incarnez un fantôme dans un château. Vous devez souffler sur une bulle pour l'emmener à la sortie de chaque niveau. Il faut cependant faire attention aux nombreux obstacles, à commencer par les bougies que le fantôme peut éteindre en soufflant dessus. Le spectre souffler dans 8 directions : haut, bas, gauche, droite et les 4 diagonales et il dispose de 5 bulles avant de perdre la partie.
